Convict Anatomy.
Australian heavy metal political band, living and playing in Adelaide.
Convict Anatomy was established in 2007, consisting of Josh Cowan, Tim Stewart and Lisa Lane-Collins as the band members.
Pre ‘CA’ 2007.
Josh Cowan - kicked started his music Career by travelling to FNQ to study music with Mark Fuccilli, performing everything from jazz classics to reggae and hard rock.
While study with Mark Fuccilli in FNQ, Josh C started his metal addiction by putting together Metal Edge and Toxigen. Both these bands were experimental metal with a few covers thrown in for practice. Metal Edge and Toxigen played gigs at Johno's nightclub, TAFE amphitheatre, numerous pubs/clubs and the Yungaburra Folk Festival (tropical weekend of musical pleasure in the Cairns Highlands).
Tim Stewart currently in 3 bands – Pitchfork, Vernichten and Convict Anatomy. Tims first band, developed in Mildura, SA, is where he discovered and improved his out-standing ‘base guitar’, ‘acoustic guitar’, ‘drums’ and ‘singing skills’.(which2bMstrd =?)
Lisa Lane-Collins has an extensive music back-ground, currently studying Diploma of Sound Engineering (read more: www.lisalalala.blogspot.com )
